Hue Family Legacy: Generation Red - Chapter 2

Well. More than half of you have no idea what this is. Right. This is the second chapter to that dramacy I started a FULL FREAKING YEAR AGO. *Cough cough* Sorry about that. Well, It's one in the morning and I wrote this all out. So, if you read it, good for you! Hope you like it :)
(There is a link below to the first chapter, because there is no way you remember everything. Even I didn't.)

~~~
Missed Something?
Merah woke up the next morning extremely confused, to say the least.
She remembered letting Harvey spend the night, but didn't know why he was in bed with her. Her face was hard with dried tears, but she didn't remember crying. Merah couldn't help but giggle at her horrible memory.
"Oh! Good morning sleepy-head!" Merah teased when Harvey finally got out of bed. "I'll be honest, I'm impressed that it took you this long to wake up!
"Merah?" Harvey said, obviously confused.
"Why are you just standing there? Let's go!"
"Yeah, but... are you okay?" Harvey asked, concern on his face.
"Never better!"
~~~

Harvey was dressed and out the door in no time.

"You know you're pretty crazy, right?" Harvey teased.
"I don't know what you're talking about!"

"So, Merah. We've been dating for a while now... and..." Harvey choked out.
"Yes?"

"Well, I was wondering if I could move in with you?"
"Well, I don't know..." Merah teased.

"Okay." She replied with a kiss.
~~~
Harvey had been living with Merah for about a week, and was showering her with gifts every day.
Of course, he had ulterior motives.
What they did next was something Merah wasn't proud of.
But for the moment she was happy. And that's what's important, right?
Love can be blinding, though.
~~~

"There's someplace I want to show you, Merah."

"It's beautiful!" gasped Merah.
Harvey took her to a small beach on the other side of town.

"Yes you are," Harvey cooed.
"Harvey..."

Harvey got down on one knee. "Merah, I know we've only known each other for a few months, but..."
"Harvey, what are you-" Merah began.

"Will you marry me?"
Merah was utterly shocked. This man that she met only 4 months ago (in a bar no less) was right here in front of her, down on one knee, with a beautiful ring in his hands. It all went so fast...

Oh! Her very own Romeo! Of course, things don't end well for Romeo and Juliet... She pushes the thought out of her mind. Besides, she was just so happy!

And she could be happy for the rest of her life. With Harvey. All it took was one word. One small syllable. One three letter word, and she would always have someone there for her. So she said it.

"Yes."
~~~
"Merah, you've been very quiet." Harvey said.
"I know, I'm just not really feeling well."
The truth is, Merah had been throwing up for the past few mornings.
Merah knew she was pregnant...
...But she didn't know how to tell Harvey.
"Are you sure you're all right?
So she didn't tell him.
"Never better."
Merah went to bed without another word.
She knew she would have to tell him someday.
Someday.
~~~

It was a beautiful day for a wedding.
"You look beautiful, Merah." Harvey whispered.
"Thanks..."

Harvey let go of her. "Somethings wrong."
"Nothing's wro-"
"I know that look Merah. Say it." Harvey said.

"Honey. I'm pregnant."
Silence.

"What?!" Harvey screamed.

"How could you let this happen?! This is not okay, Merah!"
"Harvey, I-"

Harvey was growing more angry. "No! Merah, you don't get it! I hate kids! I never wanted kids! And I don't want this one!"
"You never-" Merah tried

"I want nothing to to with this kid, Merah, understand?"

"Goodbye, Merah. Good luck."
"Harvey, wait. I... I don't-"
He was gone.

How had this happened? Her life really was a tragedy. Just like Romeo and Juliet's. She just lost her Romeo, and didn't know what to do. Panic set in. She couldn't raise a child alone. She doesn't even have a real job! What was she going to do?
~~~
How had her life turned into this? Alone, pregnant, relentlessly stuffing her face with orange sherbet. Just a month ago she was happily engaged to the love of her life. How could she have known so little about him?
Like always, Merah turned her focus to her music. It was all she could do to stay sane.
The people were nice enough.
But all those smiling faces just made her more sad.
Merah alleviated the rest of her savings and the money she made from playing in the park on a nursery. She would do whatever she could to give this baby a good life.
~~~

Nights were painfully cold with an empty bed.

Merah knew she wasn't weak. She had only been strong for too long.

Merah gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Carmine.

(This color is carmine, says Wikipedia)

Merah couldn't help but see Harvey.

And couldn't help but love Carmine unconditionally.

~~~
Well that was crazy. Leave a comment. Or don't. I don't know how many people are going to read this anyways, considering its been a full year. But, eh!
Keep on being awesome!
